Caspar's Passport Application
I've been doing a bit more digging lately, and here is Caspar's passport application from 1901. I wonder where he, Katherina and Ernest were going and what they planned to do?
Isn't it kind of crazy that you can find this kind of stuff online?
A good lead here - the town where Caspar was born in Switzerland - Tennwyl Katon Aargan! Turns out that is a little town near Zurich. Put it into google earth.

He was only 5'4". That's amazing. I found my mom's grandfather's emigration paperwork. Old stuff like that is just super cool.
I printed a copy for uncle ricky.
This is cool stuff and yes, andi, they were/are short people.
